VEEDERSBURG -- Milo S. Holycross, 82, died Saturday in Carmen Nursing Home at Crawfordsville, where he had been a patient nine months. He was born Sept. 18, 1887 in Vermillion County, a son of John and Sarah Ervin Holycross. On Nov. 25, 1908 he was married to Myrtie Lightle Brissey, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Grace Keller of Crawfordsville; a step-son, Berle Brissey of Crawfordsville; a step-daughter, Mrs. Ethie Clodfelter of Veedersburg, and a grandchild and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son and a brother. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Parham Funeral Home here, with burial in Rockville Cemetery. Rev. Joseph Hayes officiated. --waw
